On 14 May, Silvia participated as an adjudicator in the academic debate Discourse & Society 2026, organised by Liudmila at the Faculty of Philology as an affiliated event of the student conference English Studies 2026: Discourse and Society.

The debate addressed three timely motions related to social competitiveness, reproductive rights, and media hyperreality, encouraging participants to engage critically with contemporary social issues through academic argumentation and public speaking.

It was a privilege to witness the students’ thoughtful and passionate interventions, as well as the supportive and intellectually engaging atmosphere created throughout the event. Congratulations to all the debaters and organisers for such a successful initiative.
